I don’t know which was harder: trying to trace decent lines around my kiddos’ hands back when they were wiggly two- and five-year-olds, or the hours I spent embroidering those deceptively simple-looking lines.
But when I got the idea to make this, I must’ve been anticipating the wistfulness I’d be feeling today – when I observe that my kiddos, who are now nine and twelve, have hands almost as big as mine.
